The Tower Of London Night
Luxury private guided day tours for the ultimate holiday experience
a selection of our fixed price English culture and heritage tours for 2022
Our London tours are divided between East and West London and include visits to iconic ‘must see’ places like Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral and the royal palaces, as well as more off the beaten track, lesser known places.
Bath, in Somerset, is one of the UK’s most beautiful cities, with its elegant Georgian architecture, breathtaking scenery and buzzing food scene. Picturesque and historically appealing, this city has been called ‘the jewel’ of south west England.
West Sussex chichester
The lovely city of Chichester is located in the historic county of Sussex, between the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park and Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is in the South of England, about 65 miles south west of London, is easily accessible via the major motorway networks of the M3 and M27 and is well served by public transport.
It has it all! Cobbled streets steeped in history, a remarkable 900 year old, Norman cathedral and ancient city walls that date back to the Romans. Important heritage with handsome historic buildings.
The entire centre is a conservation area, and it shows. Idyllic Georgian townhouses compete with 17th-century cottages tucked down lanes, it could almost be a film set! And there are some great postwar properties too. The historic roads out of town, such as Westgate, are also studded with beautiful houses.
cumbria and the lakes
The Lake District and Hadrian’s Wall are both classified as UNESCO World Heritage sites and you will understand why when you visit. The mountains and lakes are visually stunning and if you think back in history to all the poets, writers and artists who were inspired by this place it all makes sense.
Set amongst the wild beauty of the Cumbrian and Northumbrian landscapes Hadrian’s Wall is an inspiring and atmospheric monument to an extraordinary civilization. There are forts, castles and towns to visit on this tour as you learn about the Romans and discover the importance of protecting the northern border of Roman Britain.
The most famous historical figures that made the Lakes their home were William Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter and John Ruskin, one of the most influential social and environmental theorist of his time. You will be visiting some of the houses and wonderful galleries and museums that help preserve this part of England’s cultural heritage.
